Day 21: Where Will YOU Be 21 Days From Now?

March 2nd, 2007

Here’s Matt and I in the same parking lot we left from, 21 days later:

day21.jpg

We’re right back where we started from in some ways, but so much farther in other ways.

I’m so pumped up and focused after this road trip that I had to record my thoughts for you here:

Remember, you will be SOMEWHERE 21 days from now - the question is, where?

I challenge you to take ACTION and make the most of the opportunities available to you, so that 21 days from now, you are where you want to be.

There’s a poem that appears on a sundial at Wellesley College:

“The shadow by my finger cast,
Divides the future from the past.
Behind its unreturning line,
The vanished hour, no longer thine.
Before it lies the unknown hour,
In darkness and beyond thine power.
One hour alone is in thine hands,
The now on which the shadow stands…”

The clock is ticking.

What are you going to do with the next 21 days that you’ve been given?

Make something happen!

UPDATE: The registration page for next Thursday’s FREE MYSTERY GUEST TELESEMINAR will go live on Tuesday of next week, so watch your inbox for details…

Day 20: Mystery Guest FREE Teleseminar on Thursday, March 8th…

March 1st, 2007

Mark your calendar for Thursday, March 8th at 9 pm eastern…

day20.jpg

I will be holding a LIVE “Road Trip Report” teleseminar to share all of the lessons that I learned on this road trip (except for the confidential information I am not at liberty to share from the behind-closed-doors sessions).

This event will be FREE for Road Trip members ONLY.

I’m going through all of my notes from every seminar, mastermind group, conversation and interview, pulling out the parts I’m not allowed to share, and gathering the rest to give you a complete report with takeaways and action steps.

It’ll be the next best thing to being there!

I’m also going to give away something very special, but I’m not going to tell you what it is yet - I want it to be a surprise.

Registration details will be announced tomorrow.

I’ll also be making a major announcement on that seminar that may shock you - it has shocked the few industry insiders I have already shared it with.

(Some have even warned me against it, but I’m going forward with it anyway.)

PLUS - I’ll be joined by a MYSTERY SPECIAL GUEST that will blow your mind (you’ll never guess who it is).

Thousands of people have joined the Road Trip site, but my teleseminar line only holds 500 people MAX, so be sure to watch your inbox for tomorrow’s email - I don’t want you to miss your opportunity to register.

Don’t forget that this is FREE for Road Trip members ONLY.

It’s my way of saying thanks for sticking with me throughout the trip. :-)

Stay tuned…

Day 19: Why Are You So Fortunate?

February 28th, 2007

I have a tattoo on my arm:

day_19.jpg

It’s there to remind me that my life is a gift, that every day is a gift.

It helps me keep an attitude of gratitude for the things I have.

Most of the highly successful internet marketing folks I have met on this road trip also have the same attitude.

I’m sure it’s one of the major contributing factors to their success.

You might benefit from considering just how fortunate you really are.

It might surprise you.

I’d like to surprise you, too, so I have a gift for you.

I’ll tell you about it tomorrow.

Now go make a list of all of the things you have to be thankful for, and don’t stop until you fill a whole page.

I bet that by the end of it, you’ll feel too blessed to be stressed. ;-)

Day 18: This Will Turbocharge Your Success (and MAJOR Announcement Coming)

February 27th, 2007

I visited Mike Filsaime’s office in Long Island today, and Tom Beal let me drive his Acura NSX:

beal_car_2.jpg

This is no grocery-getter, let me tell you… ;-)

As I accelerated into the curves, I could tell that this car was designed to go fast. Very fast.

Later, Tom and I sat in the parking lot and talked for a while about business and life:

beal_car_1.jpg

Talking with Tom always leads to insights, and I was struck by the speed with which my life has changed in the past year.

Gripping the steering wheel in my hands, I remembered feeling the pull of the engine, daring me to drive faster.

(So was Tom!)

I could feel the car wanting to go faster, but I was just holding it back from reaching it’s true potential.

It reminded me of my own life.

The truth is, I don’t think any of us realize the velocity we are capable of reaching, how quickly we can turn things around and make our dreams come true.

What was responsible for my rocket ride to success?

Building relationships and developing the skills necessary to create joint ventures have brought me more than I ever could have imagined.

In fact, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about how to share everything I’ve learned throughout this entire road trip with you so that you can quickly apply it to your own life and start experiencing your own breakthroughs, and I think I’ve found the answer.

For those of you who have stuck with me from the start, I have a gift for you.

You will be amazed at what I have in store for you.

It has the power to change your life just like it did mine.

I have decided to…

Day 17: What Seperates The Successful From The Rest…

February 26th, 2007

What if you could instantly reach out and connect with the greatest minds in the business? People like Mike Filsaime and James Grandstaff:

blog-day-17.jpg

Do you think you would have a distinct competitive advantage?

What if you had access to the lists of every major marketer?

Could you be successful?

What if every time you were confused, unmotivated, or lost, you could simply pick up the phone and get the answers you need?

How long would it take for you to be successful?

What seperates the successful from the rest is that they do not play the marketing game by themselves.

Internet marketing is a team sport, and all you need to do is build a team.

I had over ten of my mentors and advisors review my road trip idea before I decided on actually doing it.

The reason why is that I trust them to give me the objectivity I lack.

I would rather have all of us running my business than just me.

Who wins when you win?

Build your team, and you will succeed.

Day 16: On The Expert Panel With Prestigious Company

February 25th, 2007

Here’s a photo of me on the hot seat expert panel at Mike Filsaime’s VIP “2007FigureBusinesss.com” event:

Hot Seat

I had the honor of being invited to participate on the Hot Seat panel today with some very esteemed guests. To my right in this picture are Ryan Kaltman, Donna Fox, Jeff Walker & Brian Edmondson. Joining us were Mike Filsaime, Tellman Knudson, Rich Schefren, Brad Fallon, Keith Wellman and several other talented internet markters.

What an amazing experience!

It’s hard to believe that less than one short year ago I was in the audience at events like these and now I get to share the stage with these amazing people.

What’s the secret to my “overnight” success?

The truth is, only through the power of building relationships and Joint Ventures could this be possible.

In fact, I will be doing a teleseminar this coming week with Rich Schefren and Brad Fallon, and we’ll be sharing more about this very topic on the call.

My road trip tip for the day?

Get other people involved in your projects as soon as you can.

They will show you the way to online success.

Stay Tuned…

Day 15: Live at Mike Filsaime’s VIP Event

February 24th, 2007

I’m at Mike Filsaime’s 2007FigureBusiness.com event this weekend getting the answers to YOUR marketing questions, so I’ll have to be brief.

I ran into two friends this morning…

day_15.jpg

Bret Ridgway of Speaker Fulfillment Services and Jeff Walker of Product Launch Formula have both made a tremendous difference in my life. Bret handled the fulfillment on JV Formula, and Jeff’s course provided much of the thinking behind our launch.

I hope you are learning by now just how important it is to surround yourself with a great team. Your partners are the reason you will succeed, and if you want to learn how to attract more powerful partners quickly and easily… well, I’ll just have to tell you later.

Stay tuned for a big announcement…

Day 14: FREE Video Tutorial on Building Your Business

February 23rd, 2007

richvideo.gif

About seven months ago I read Rich Schefren’s
Internet Business Manifesto… and that report
literally led to massive profits for me almost
instantly, because it showed me the right things
to do and what to avoid that was holding me back.

Why else would I take a road trip of thousands of
miles to see Rich live if I didn’t know for certain
that it would be worth hundreds of times the
investment of time and money?

Now you can watch a FREE video of Rich Schefren
sharing the same secret strategies I have been
following this past year in his coaching program
to grow my business with unbelievable momentum.

Even though I’ve only been in the online version of
his coaching program and we’ve only spoken once briefly,
I can definitely say that his teachings have been
responsible for a large part of the amazing growth”
of my business since JV Formula launched last year.

That’s why I call him my “Secret Coach” - because
I think it’s even a secret from HIM! :-D

If you’re serious about your online business, then you
really need to see this…

This video is every bit as groundbreaking as the
Manifesto was last summer. And the best part is
that you can see the video right now, and you
don’t even need to opt-in to see the video.

Click here now to watch it for FREE!

Talk with you soon,
Sterling,

P.S. I’m not sure how long Rich will leave this
video “out in the open” and freely available.

I’m sure all of the traffic will crash the server
sooner or later, so be sure to check it out right
now.

Click here now to watch it for FREE!

When you’re done watching it, I’d love to know what you
thought of it, so feel free to post a comment here on my blog.

Day 13: The Key to Getting People to Help You

February 22nd, 2007

Checking in from somewhere along Route I-95 North…

day13.jpg

One of the questions I get asked most frequently is how to enlist others to help with your project.

Since I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on this while driving, I thought I’d answer that question in today’s post…

Talk to you soon,

–Sterling

Day 12: What Do YOU Dream About Doing?

February 21st, 2007

Matt snapped this picture of me when I wasn’t looking today…

day121.jpg

I was playing guitar for Becky Dielman and Randy Fogg outside of the hotel in Orlando as they waited to go to the airport.

I’d love to play music all day long, and I believe my internet marketing business will make that possible very soon.

What do YOU dream about doing?
